The Belfast Giants remain top of the Elite League after claiming their second win of the weekend on Sunday. Ed Courtenay's outfit beat Newcastle 3-1 away from home.
Paul Ferone gave Newcastle the lead in the second period, Jason Ruff equalised but Mark Dutiaume and Curtis Huppe netted in the third period for Belfast.
The Giants' next game is a second leg Challenge Cup tie against Manchester Phoenix at the Odyssey on Friday night, with the scores currently level at 2-2.
That is followed by a home league game against the Sheffield Steelers on Sunday.
