Cardiff Devils have secured the signing of Canadian defenceman Gerad Adams for the 2005/06 Elite League campaign. Adams, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Tuesday, has spent the past two seasons with Sheffield Steelers.
New player-coach Ed Patterson has moved quickly to snap up the feisty Adams, who has also had spells in Britain with London Knights and Edinburgh Capitals.
Adams comes from Regina, Saskatchewan and has been playing professional ice hockey since 1995.
