Bushman is set to run in the Juddmonte International on Tuesday
Newmarket trainer David Simcock has played down the prospects of his Juddmonte International runner Bushman ahead of the Ebor Festival at York.
The feature race has been touted as a battle between Twice Over and Byword and Simcock believes a win is beyond his six-year-old.
He told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He's not a group one horse.
"He might surprise a few people, if he can finish third or fourth that would be fantastic."
Bushman will arrive at the festival in good form, winning the Royal Windsor Stakes and Epsom's Diomed Stakes this season and finishing second just three weeks ago in the York Stakes.

But Simcock is being cautious about his chances on Tuesday.
"He just lacks that turn of foot that makes him a really good horse," Simcock said.
"But at the same time he's a horse that generally runs very consistently and will run his race.
"But for what he cost and how we picked him up, we couldn't be happier."
The Suffolk trainer admits he would love to get his first win at the four-day meeting, and hopes either Dream Ahead could achieve that in the Acomb Stakes or the Marwan Koukash-owned Suruor can come out on top in the one mile handicap Goddard Stakes.
However, with many cards offering winnings to the top six finishers, Simcock says that first-place results are not essential.
He said: "The prize money is exceptional and in the current climate, where prize money is dropping rapidly, the fact that York have increased their prize money it makes a huge difference.
"There's racecourses at the moment where you can run a decent horse and pick up nothing.
"I've got to look at prize money carefully and if there's a chance of winning a proper pot then I've got to go for it."
