Connections of double Classic winner Cockney Rebel say they have received an offer of 10m for the colt. The three-year-old is favourite for next week's St James' Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
"We've had lots of offers and a firm bid of 10m for him - that's not a bad return on the 30,000 guineas he cost as a yearling," said trainer Geoff Huffer.
"Money is not the main factor, which is that the owner can keep the horse for the rest of the season."
Huffer added: "Nobody's bought him at the moment and (owner) Phil Cunningham doesn't want to do anything until after the St James' Palace Stakes."
Cockney Rebel followed up his 2000 Guineas win at Newmarket last month with victory in the Irish equivalent.
Longer term, Huffer plans to return to Ascot with Cockney Rebel in September for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
