Kieren Fallon will not be able to ride in next month's Hong Kong Vase after he was denied a licence. Fallon had hoped to partner 2005 St Leger winner Scorpion in the race but the Hong Kong Jockey Club has refused to grant him a licence.
The Irish jockey is banned from riding in Britain after being charged with conspiracy to defraud, which he denies.
He was also not granted a licence to ride in the US but was allowed to ride in Australia.

Fallon won the race in 2005 on Ouija Board, who is on course to run again in this year's race on 10 December.
The contest will mark her last racecourse appearance before she is retired.
The Ed Dunlop-trained mare was third to Deep Impact in Sunday's Japan Cup.
