Despite twisting his ankle earlier in the week, Dettori could not resist doing his trademark flying dismount in the winner's enclosure.
After victories in the Prix d'Ispahan, the Eclipse, the Juddmonte International Stakes and the QEII, this was Falbrav's fifth Group One race of the season.
Dettori, who had not ridden Falbrav since the pair won the Japan Cup last year, was full of praise for his horse.
"He's without doubt one of the best horses I have ever ridden," said the Italian jockey.
"He is the best horse in the world and always has been," echoed Cumani. "He's run in 10 Group Ones and won five of them.
"It would be nice if he stayed in training but he's done enough and I'll look forward to training his progeny."
The Hong Kong marked the final race in the World Racing Series and bumped Falbrav up to second in the final overall standings.
The series was won by High Chaparral with Dettori being crowned as top jockey.
