Pleasantly Perfect, ridden by Alex Solis for trainer Dick Mandella, won the biggest race of the meeting at Santa Anita.

The trainer also tasted victory with Halfbridled and Action This Day and dead-heated with Johar, also partnered by Solis.
Volponi, last year's shock winner of the Classic at odds of 43-1, showed early on but faded in the back straight.

Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf ($1m - 1m 2f) Kieren Fallon guided Sir Michael Stoute's Islington to a historic victory.
It was the first success for a British-trained runner in any Breeders' Cup race staged in California.
Bien Nicole stole a healthy march on the field from the gate but the pack closed in entering the home turn.
She was soon swallowed up, with Fallon getting the 100-30 favourite into the perfect position to challenge coming into the straight.
L'Ancresse was a length or so in front, but Fallon's renowned strength saw Islington win the day to give the rider his first Breeders' Cup success.
Yesterday, who had only a couple of runners behind her early on, finished well to snatch third on the line.

2 L'Ancresse (ES Prado) 33-1

Cajun Beat, trained by Steve Margolis, got stronger the further he went, however, and the 14-1 shot stretched clear as Bluesthestandard stayed on to get the better of Shake You Down for second.

Breeders' Cup Mile ($1.5m - 1m)Six Perfections struck for France with a magnificent victory in the Mile as Britain's Oasis Dream and Ireland's Refuse To Bend faltered.
