Ireland's women were thumped 6-0 by Holland in their second match at the European Championships in Manchester. Kim Lammers opened the Dutch account in the 11th minute and she went on to hit three more goals in the first half as Holland led 5-0 at the interval.
Naomi Van As hit the other two goals and the Irish were grateful to goalkeeper Mary Goode who made some tremendous saves in the second half.
Ireland were beaten 3-0 by England in their opener in Manchester on Saturday.
