England's number one goalkeeper Jon Ebsworth has withdrawn from their World Cup squad because of work commitments. He cited England's hectic 2006 schedule which has included the Commonwealth Games and a World Cup qualifier.
"Then going straight into the club season and the lack of rest period is a major factor," he said of his decision.
England coach Jason Lee said: "This is a great loss for the squad, but I fully respect his decision. I hope Jon can return to the team in the future."
England are scheduled to play in a two-week tournament in Germany next month.
