England men's hockey team have been drawn in the same group as holders Australia at the Commonwealth Games. England - who are aiming to improve on a disappointing fifth place in 2002 - are also in the same pool as New Zealand, who took silver in Manchester.
Canada and Scotland are the other teams in the group, with the top two going through to the semi-finals.
England's women have been drawn with New Zealand, Scotland, Canada and Barbados.
