Replay - Tweddle wins gold in the floor Double European gymnastics champion Beth Tweddle led the way as Great Britain claimed six medals at the Glasgow Grand Prix on Saturday. Tweddle, 24, won on both the asymmetric bars and the floor, as she did in Milan last month, with Becky Downie second behind Tweddle on the bars. Olympic bronze medalist Louis Smith won gold on the pommel horse, which also produced a bronze for Daniel Keatings. Kristian Thomas added a silver on the floor to complete GB's medal haul. Downie also finished sixth in the beam, where her excellent double pike dismount was offset by a missed leap series connection. Downie scored 14.6 on the asymmetric bars, but Tweddle improved on her qualifying performance to win with a score of 15.275. Replay - Smith wins pommel gold The other star of the annual Grand Prix in Glasgow, usually staged in the autumn but brought forward to accommodate the world championships in London in October, was Brazilian Diego Hypolito. Hypolito won over the crowd at the Kelvin Hall with gold on both the floor and vault in the men's competition.
