Norfolk-born event rider Piggy French finished 16th on board Jakarta in the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.

French, 30, rode in the dressage, cross-country and show jumping sections of the event.

"Riding in a stadium this big is different - I've never had that sort of feeling or that sort of pressure," French told BBC Norfolk.

"It took four fences to get Jakarta going but on the scale of things it's very exciting for the future."

She added: "I've loved the experience and hope to join the British team for many more championships."
