Breisner is looking forward to British success at Blenheim Palace
Former European gold medallist Yogi Breisner says he will be looking for the next generation of equestrian talent at Blenheim Palace next month.
The venue in Woodstock will play host to the International Horse Trials.
Breisner, who lives in Thame, is the world class performance manager and chef d'equipe to the senior British eventing team.
"Blenheim is very much a part of looking at the next team," Breisner told BBC Oxford's Jo Thoenes.
"Maybe even for 2010 for the World Equestrian Games. Being a three-star competition it's one rung away from being at the very top."
The Great Britain team will compete at September's European Eventing Championships.
Breisner, who used to train at Waterstock House Training Centre near Oxford, is confident they can successfully defend their team gold medal.
He said: "It's in Fontainebleau which is a place we know very well so we know the terrain and we know the set-up."
Jo Thoenes will be bringing her Afternoon Show on BBC Oxford 95.2FM live from the Blenheim International Horse Trials on Friday 11 September between 1300 BST and 1600 BST
