Nottinghamshire's David Phillipson secured Britain's men a place in the final of the wheelchair tennis World Cup and a return to the elite group. The British number one from Bingham beat Steffen Sommerfeld 6-3 3-6 6-2 to seal a semi-final Win over Germany at the Invacare World Team Cup in Italy. The 3-0 win guarantees a return to the elite 16 nations in Men's World Group 1 for next year's competition. The team face top seeds Belgium in Saturday's final.
