Britain's top disability cyclists will continue their Beijing preparations at the Paralympic World Cup at the Manchester Velodrome on 8 and 9 May. Athens Paralympic champions Darren Kenny and the pairing of Aileen McGlynn and Ellen Hunter are among those named in the 16-strong team. There will also be a chance for swimmers turned cyclists Sarah Storey and Jody Cundy to gain race practice. Highlights will be shown on BBC TWO on Sunday 11 May at 1600 BST. Kenny will compete in the CP3 3k pursuit and the kilo races where he is world champion as well as in the team sprint, where he will be also hoping to win a medal in Beijing. McGlynn and Hunter will take part in the tandem kilo, where they are current World and Paralympic champions, as well as the tandem pursuit. Cundy will be hoping to continue his dominance in the LC2 kilo, where he has impressed since making the switch from cycling, while Storey (formerly Bailey) will also be bidding to continue her good form. The 30-year-old broke her own world 2km time trial record by more than two seconds in Manchester last month. A new addition to the squad is former judo star Simon Jackson, who won gold medals in Seoul, Barcelona and Atlanta, and who will compete in the tandem events with the vastly experienced Barney Storey. Storey's former tandem partner Anthony Kappes will be lining up with his new partner Jon Norfolk as they continue their build-up towards Beijing.
