Britain's David Phillipson saw his Australian Wheelchair Tennis Open debut come to an end with defeat in the singles and doubles in Melbourne. The 19-year-old lost 6-1 7-6 (7-2) to 2005 finalist Martin Legner of Austria in the second round of the singles.
Then, Phillipson and his Swedish partner Niclas Larsson fell to Dutch second seeds Maikel Scheffers and Eric Stuurman in the doubles quarter-finals.
Peter Norfolk and Canadian Sarah Hunter made the quad doubles final.
They enjoyed a 6-4 6-3 victory over Johan Andersson and Dorrie Timmermans-Van Hall in the semi-finals.
In the women's doubles, Lucy Shuker partnered Australia's Daniela do Toro to Thursday's semi-finals with a 6-3 6-4 win over Ilanit Fridman and Karin Korb.
Thursday's action moves from the Albert Reserve Tennis Centre to Melbourne Park, where world number two quad Norfolk will face Nick Taylor of the United States in the semi-finals as the Briton continues his quest for a 12th career Super Series title.
Shuker will play world number five Jiske Griffioen of the Netherlands in the quarter-finals of the women's event.
Elsewhere, Britain's Jamie Burdekin and Susan Paisley reached the quad singles final and women's consolation singles final respectively at the Queensland Open in Brisbane.
