Rose is enjoying a hugely successful campaign this winter |
Britain's Sean Rose lies in sixth place in the slalom standings after the first two rounds of the IPC World Cup ski races in Austria and France. The Turin Winter Paralympian came into the World Cup events after some strong displays in the European Cup races.
He finished sixth in Abtenau in Austria earlier in January, just three and a half seconds behind the winner.
He followed up with sixth and tenth places in the two slalom races at the Queyras meeting on Thursday and Friday.
Rose fared less well in the two giant slalom races in France, crashing out on the second runs on both days.
He is now 12th in both the combined and super combined standings, 13th in the super-G and 21st in the giant slalom.
Joe Willoughby made her World Cup debut at Abtenau and claimed her first points in the giant slalom with a fifth-place finish before also finishing fifth in the super-G and sixth in the super combined.
The team's next races are in early March at the IPC North American races in Kimberley and Sun Peaks in Canada.
