Britain's Peter Norfolk successfully defended his quad singles title at the Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Tournament on Sunday. The world number two beat eighth seed Shraga Weinberg of Israel 6-0 6-2 for his third singles title of 2007. Dutchman Maikel Scheffers won the men's singles with a 6-4 6-2 victory over Satoshi Saida of Japan. Reigning national champion Gordon Reid of Scotland beat world number 17 Yoshinobu Fujimoto of Japan 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 to win the consolation singles final.
