GB crews to defend world crowns
Helene Raynsford celebrates her gold medal
Raynsford is a former GB wheelchair basketball international
Great Britain's adaptive rowing mixed coxed four and sculler Helene Raynsford will both defend their titles at next week's World Championships in Munich.

The four of Vicki Hansford, Naomi Riches, Alistair McKean and Alan Crowther won a special race at June's World Cup Regatta in Amsterdam.

Cox Alan Sherman returns to the team in place of Tamsin Cottle, who was in the boat in the Netherlands.

Raynsford has recovered from a bout of illness which affected her winter work.

Tom Aggar will make his international debut in the men's single sculls after an impressive win in May's Poplar regatta to beat 2006 world championships bronze medal winner Shaun Sewell in the selection race.

Karen Cromie and James Roberts have been confirmed in the double scull after gaining a place in the final last year.

The crews begin their campaigns in Monday's heats with the semi-finals on Thursday and the finals on Saturday 1 September.
