British duo start in winning form
Lucy Shuker
Shuker is now ranked a career-best 12th in the world
Britain's Lucy Shuker and Jayant Mistry were both victorious in their opening matches in the Sydney International Wheelchair Tennis Open in Australia.

British women's singles number one Shuker beat Johana Martinez of Colombia 6-1 6-2.

She will now take on Swiss seventh seed Karin Suter-Erath for a place in the Sydney quarter-finals.

Mistry defeated Glenn Barnes of New Zealand 6-3 6-3 to set up a clash with Dutch fifth seed Ronald Vink.
