Kenny came back from the event with two golds and two silvers |
David Stone won two gold medals on the road to ensure the GB team finished on a high at the IPC World Cycling Championships in Switzerland. Stone was triumphant in the time trial and road race events in the CP2 category for trikes.
There were also silvers for Darren Kenny and Sarah Bailey and another bronze for Mark Bristow to add to their medal tallies.
The trio had earlier been successful in the track events.
Stone, the European champion in both of his events, finished 19 seconds ahead of South African Riaan Nel in the time trial and then put on a superb solo charge to claim victory in the road race.
Kenny found Spanish rival Javier Ochoa too good in the CP3 category races with Ochoa gaining revenge for Kenny's victories on the track.
Bailey was edged out by China's Ju Fang Zhou in the road race and finished second to New Zealand's Claire McLean in the time trial.
Bristow added bronze in the LC1 road race to his bronze in the LC1 track time trial.
