The Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball team claimed a hard-fought 48-42 win over the USA in their opening match at the World Championships. Despite a below-par display, GB dug deep when it mattered with some crucial late points to seal the victory.
The sides were tied at 19-19 at the break and 32 apiece going into the final quarter.
But Terry Bywater's 19 points proved vital with Simon Munn and Steve Caine also putting in some crucial scores.
GB face Sweden in their second match on Friday. The Swedes beat South Africa 63-49 in their opener.
