GB curlers learn Paralympic fate
Great Britain's wheelchair curling team will begin their bid for gold at the Winter Paralympics in Turin against world runners-up Switzerland.

GB will go on to face Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Canada and the USA in the rest of the round-robin games.

World champions Scotland have seven representatives in the current GB training squad while there are two from England and one from Wales.

The team for Turin will be announced later this year.

The wheelchair curling gets under way on 12 March with the semi-finals to take place on 17 March and the gold medal match on 18 March.


GB squad: Ken Dickson, Louise Dodd, Frank Duffy, Tom Killin, Angie Malone, Michael McCreadie, Jim Sellar (Scotland), David Quarrie, George Windram (England), Clark Shiels (Wales).
