Scottish curlers snatch late win
Scotland have set a new record of 14 consecutive wins in the World Wheelchair Curling Championship.

The defending champions sealed the achievement with a 7-3 victory over Denmark on Wednesday, following an earlier 6-4 defeat of the USA.

Norway sealed a double triumph over teams from the UK, beating England 5-4 and Wales 5-3.

But the British teams both managed to defeat Russia in the round-robin - Wales won 7-3, and England 6-5.

Elsewhere, newcomers Japan - skipped by Yoji Nakajima - surprised the previously unbeaten Denmark 7-4.

Sweden overwhelmed Poland 8-3, while Switzerland cruised to a 9-2 win over Italy.
