Britons beaten in doubles
World number one quad player Peter Norfolk
Norfolk still has the singles to go for
Britain's Peter Norfolk and Jayant Mistry both tasted defeat at the Japan Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships.

Norfolk and his Canadian partner Sarah Hunter lost 6-1 3-6 6-2 to American David Wagner and Holland's Monique De Beer in the quad doubles final.

And Mistry and Dutch partner Robin Ammerlaan lost their men's doubles semi-final 6-2 6-2 to Australia's David Hall and France's Michael Jeremiasz.

Norfolk will face Wagner again in the quad singles final on Sunday.

Victory for the Hampshire player would make him the holder of all four Super Series titles - the equivalent of Grand Slams - on the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

He has already won the British, US and Australian Opens.

Last week Norfolk and Mistry were named in an eight-strong wheelchair tennis team to represent Great Britain at the Athens Paralympic Games in September.
