Jenkins hits back for opening tie

Herefordshire darts professional Terry Jenkins was involved in a dramatic draw with newcomer Jelle Klaasen on the opening night of the Premier League.

Klaasen opened up a 5-3 lead in front of almost 8,000 fans in Liverpool.

Back-to-back 14-darters earned Klaasen a point, but Jenkins took out a 120 'Shanghai' finish for the final leg.

"I got control halfway through," said Jenkins. "But I let it slip and a draw was a fair result. I knew what I was up against. It's difficult playing him."
