Leicester darts player Jamie Caven has been knocked out of this year's PDC World Championships in London.

Caven was beaten in the first round at the Alexandra Palace by fellow Briton Mark Walsh.

The 32-year-old lost 3-2 to the 21st seed, and has now lost all four of their meetings.

Having recently broken into the PDC's top 50, Caven had hoped to further improve his ranking with a good run at the tournament.
