Teenage star Michael van Gerwen beat Darryl Fitton 3-1 to reach the semis of the World Masters in Bridlington. The 17-year-old from Holland, who also accounted for Robert Wagner on Saturday, will face 23-year-old Mark
Webster of Wales in the last four.
Van Gerwen let slip a 2-0 lead against Wagner before winning the sudden-death leg with a 127 checkout on the bull.
But his display against Fitton was near faultless, completed by another big finish, this time a 106 on double top.
"I like the attention I am receiving but people cannot talk about me being the next world champion," added Van Gerwen. "I have to do that first."
Webster is another rising star who won the Europe Cup singles this year, and he recorded a superb three-dart average of 101.52 in his 3-1 success against Brian Woods.
Top seed Martin Adams is on course to meet one of the two young guns in the final, but first must overcome Steve Farmer, who knocked out former world champion John 'Boy' Walton.
