The prestigious tournament, held in Bridlington, will see the cream of the World Darts Federation competing for the title.
Some of the greatest names in the sport have won this tournament in the past, Eric Bristow, Phil Taylor and last year's winner Raymond Van Barneveld to name just a few.
And with Barneveld having switched to a rival organisation, a new champion will be crowned this time.
England's Martin Adams will be amongst the favourites in the men's event while world number one Trina Gulliver will be looking to retain her women's title.
The event is the only major in world darts with four separate finals - men, women, boys and girls.
Join Ray Stubbs for coverage on BBC One on Saturday 14 October at 1340 and on BBC Two on Sunday 15 October at 1450.
UK users of this website will also be able to watch the coverage online.
