Trina Gulliver won her fifth successive women's world darts title with a 2-0 win over Francis Hoenselaar. The "Golden Girl" has never lost a match at the Lakeside in Frimley Green and dropped only one leg - the first - against her Dutch opponent.
And she said: "I'm really, really pleased to win it five times. It just gets harder and harder.
"But I don't like giving anything away. Francis said to me that this seems to be my stage and that's how it proved."
Hoenselaar vowed to return and one day break Gulliver's stranglehold on the sport.
"Trina will have one bad day in a final sometime," she said. "I will be back. I'm sure we'll have many finals together."
