Isle of Man cyclist Peter Kennaugh remains on the pace

Kennaugh made his ProTour debut at Sunday's GP Cycliste la Marseillaise

Isle of Man cyclist Peter Kennaugh finished 93rd in the second stage of the Etoile de Besseges in France on Thursday.

The stage turned into another bunch sprint with Vacansoleil sprinter Borut Bozic claiming a second consecutive victory.

The result leaves the Team Sky rider 101st with three stages remaining.

All seven Team Sky riders finished in the main peloton after the testing 141km route.

Friday's third stage heads from Pont Saint Esprit to Bagnols sur Ceze, covering 148km in total.

The race concludes on Sunday.
