Jersey tourism officials are hopeful a major international cycle race could return to the island next year. The Tour de Bretagne, which is a known for attracting world class riders, held a time trial along Victoria Avenue two years ago. Jersey Tourism are meeting with Tour representatives in France on Saturday, to promote the benefits of bringing the race back to the island in 2010. If the Tour were to return, there could be both a time trial and road race.
