Mountain biker on way to Beijing

Commonwealth champion Killeen finished fifth in the Athens games

Malvern mountain biker Liam Killeen is on track to achieving his greatest ambition, an Olympic gold medal, after being picked to go to Beijing.

Killeen was named in the two-man Great Britain team on Tuesday, along with Oli Beckingsale.

The 26-year-old will be looking to better his fifth-place finish in Athens four years ago.

The current Commonwealth Games champion, Killeen started in the sport after going to watch a local event.
