Mark Cavendish continued his fine form by winning the final stage of the Four Days of Dunkirk race in France. The Isle of Man-born sprint specialist, who rides for the T-Mobile team, pipped highly experienced German star Erik Zabel of the Milram team on the line.
He also out-sprinted an elite group to win the third stage on 10 May, and took third place the previous day.
Cavendish, 21, in his first major road racing season, won the Scheldeprijs Vlaaderen race in Belgium last month.
His performances in the Dunkirk event secured a second pro stage race points jersey after his success in the 2006 Tour of Britain.
T-Mobile's sporting director Brian Holm said: "All credit to Mark, who gave us another glimpse of his enormous sprint potential.
"With two stage wins and the points jersey, we've got as much as we could out of this race."
Cavendish has already achieved success on the track, winning madison gold at the 2005 World Championships with Rob Hayles.
He also won the scratch race title at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
