Evans ends international career
Banbridge cyclist Tommy Evans has decided to bow out of international competition.

The 33-year-old, who has competed at four Commonwealth Games and two world championships, has represented Ireland and Ulster since the age of 17.

He finished 31st in the men's road race at the Games in Melbourne.

Evans claimed the Tommy Brown Memorial Cup for the third time on Saturday by seeing off Ahoghill's Ryan Connor in the Tour of Ards.
