Cooke victorious again in Italy
Nicole Cooke
Cooke has two wins and a second this season
Welsh cyclist Nicole Cooke continued her successful start to 2005 with a win in the 93km race in Cittiglio, Varese.

The 21-year-old Safi-Pasta Zara rider from Wick won a long sprint with Katia Longhin to claim the victory.

"I'm really happy to have won. It was a big day for the team and they worked really hard for me again," said Cooke.

Cooke has two wins and a second from her three road races this season. Her next event is the Tour of Flanders World Cup race on Sunday.
