Cooke edged out in Primavera Rosa |  Nicole Cooke's team were hit by puncture problems | Welsh cyclist Nicole Cooke was second in her first World Cup race of the year, the Primavera Rosa in San Remo. The Safi-Pasta Zara rider was in a group of around 20 going into the sprint finish, but was edged out of the win by Germany's Trixi Worrack. Her powerful Nurnberger team also had Oenone Wood in third and Regina Schleicher in fourth spot. Cooke's team were hit by a puncture to sprinter Rochelle Gilmore in the final hour before the Cipressa climb.
