Tour de France route 2005 |
The 2005 Tour de France - from 2-24 July - will travel 3,600km from the tiny Atlantic island of Noirmoutier, through Germany and on to the finish in Paris.
With just three mountain finishes and one individual time-trial, the Tour will pose a different challenge in 2005.
The time-trial on 23 July, just 24 hours before the final Paris stage, should ensure a nervous finish.
