| | Damiano Cunego edged out Bradley McGee and Cristian Moreni to secure victory in stage two of the Giro d'Italia between Novi Ligure and Pontremoli. About 35 riders broke clear on the final climb of the 184-kilometre stage, with the young Italian first in a sprint to the line.
