Devon bowlers Lee Toleman and Michael Ivings claimed gold for England in the individual pairs at the British Isles Short Mat Championships.

The duo won three of their four matches, only losing to Wales 15-9, while recording wins over Ireland, Scotland and hosts the Isle of Man.

England also won the fours title whilst also coming second behind Ireland in the triples.

Ireland were the winners in the team competition, with England second.

Cornwall's Karen Watson was in action in the team competition, where England lost 36-31 to Ireland in the deciding game.
