Plymouth ended their four-match losing streak with victory over struggling Dagenham & Redbridge.
Gavin Tomlin superbly volleyed the Daggers into the lead from Medy Elito's right-wing cross.
And defender Stephane Zubar kept Argyle in it with brilliant blocks from Tomlin and Romain Vincelot.
Argyle captain Craig Noone levelled the score after a mazy solo run and Joe Mason set up Rory Patterson for a winner from the edge of the box.
Plymouth Argyle boss Peter Reid told BBC Radio Devon: "I thought we were the better team and had the better chances, I always try and be honest, and I thought that today.
"We've got to learn to get a bit of quality in the final third, because if we get that quality we've got people who can stick it in the net.
"In the second half we had chances, the goalkeeper saved about three on the line, but we kept on going and it was a great result for us."
