Devon's short mat bowls team produced a stunning performance to defeat Cornwall by an impressive 24-6 in the ESMBA Inter-County Championship. The result leaves Cornwall firmly stuck to the bottom of the South West group, 20 points adrift of Somerset in third. Devon now have a 30-point lead at the top of the table, having won all three of their opening games. In the 'A' team match, Cornwall came out on top, beating Devon by 29-11 to go second in South West Group Five.
