Paternostro's side are joint seventh in the BBL table |
Leicester Riders coach Rob Paternostro said playing at home made the difference following Saturday's dramatic victory over Plymouth Raiders. Riders lost 76-64 at Sheffield Sharks on Friday but hit back to beat Raiders 102-100 at the John Sandford Centre. "It was nice to be at home again after three losses on the road," Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester. "Coming home gave us renewed energy, the fans were great and I'm proud of the guys." Paternostro, who side are now joint seventh on the BBL table, added: "It was a great game. I'm sure the fans enjoyed this one. "It was up and down action and fortunately we held on but they kept fighting and made a lot of big plays." Riders are next in action on Tuesday when they have an away game against Milton Keynes Lions. Patenostro's men follow up their midweek game with a home match against Worthing on Friday.
