Guildford Heat head coach Creon Raftopoulos says he is only thinking about winning the BBL Trophy final.

The Heat face joint BBL Championship leaders Mersey Tigers at London's 02 Arena on Saturday.

He told BBC Surrey: "It's a big achievement getting to the final but nobody ever remembers the runners-up.

"It's important we finish off the job we started at the beginning of the season. I'm excited about it and focused on getting the win."

He added: "We're in a good routine at the moment and everybody knows their role.

"We've lost to them twice this season so we owe them. I'm pretty confident."

Raftopoulos is also targeting a win to repay the club's supporters for all their efforts in keeping the club alive.

The Heat were faced with closure in January, but fans began a successful campaign to raise £25,000 in 25 days.

"We've got great fans and we appreciate everything they do," the Zimbabwean said.

"We want to give them the perfect gift for everything they've done to keep the club going."

The Heat have won their last three matches, but 24-year-old power-forward Ralph Hegamin has admitted to having a few nerves ahead of the game.

"It's a big game," he said. "It kind of gives you the chills.

"We need to focus on what we've got to do and zone out everything else around us.

"I won't be daunted by the big crowds. If anything it gives me more excited and gets me energised.

"We're all hungry to get the win."
