Paternostro was named coach of the month for February

Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro has told his side they must cut out the silly errors if they want to win at Sheffield Sharks on Friday.

Sharks are fifth in the BBL and still in the title hunt while Riders are seventh and in a five-way race for the final three places in the post season.

Paternostro said Riders must learn from last week's loss at Guildford.

"It is very difficult to win on the road when you turn it over 21 times and miss nine free throws," he said.

Riders edged a tight contest against Sharks 89-85 the last time the sides met.

But Paternostro said: "They are very dangerous and have many players that can beat you in many different ways.

"We will have to limit our turnovers because they are a team that can punish you for your mistakes."

Sharks boast a 13-7 record while improving Riders have 12 wins from 22 games.
