Plymouth Raiders picked up an impressive victory over title favourites the Mersey Tigers.

Both teams traded baskets early on but it was Tigers who forged a seven point lead going into half time.

The Raiders put on a strong comeback to overhaul the deficit and take the lead, thanks to good shooting from Evaldas Zabas and Lehmon Colbert.

Tigers then threatened to make a comeback of their own but Raiders held their nerve and closed the contest out.

Gavin Love's Raiders are now sixth in the league standings.
