Sale (9) 16 Tries: Bell Con: Hodgson Pens: Hodgson 2 Drop Goals: Hodgson Leicester (12) 18 Pens: Staunton 6 Six Jeremy Staunton penalties were enough to ensure Leicester extended their unbeaten run in the Premiership to nine games at the expense of Sale. Chris Bell's second-half try had edged the Sharks in front but the Tigers fly-half kicked his side to victory. Staunton had given the visitors an early 6-0 lead and despite Charlie Hodgson's efforts with the boot Leicester led 12-9 at the break. Sale's only consolation was to finish with a losing bonus point. The Sharks have now lost 10 matches in the Premiership this season.
