Reading Rockets coach Matt Johnson says this season's English Basketball League is more competitive than at any other time in his career. Sunday's 75-61 victory over Durham Wildcats saw the Rockets climb to second in the table. Johnson told BBC Berkshire: "It's great for supporters, great for the game, and it's great for the whole club. "For the first time in the 12 years I've been involved, you go into games without knowing if you'll win or lose." He added: "That goes right from the bottom team Coventry, to the top team Bristol. It's such an amazing league, it's so exciting for the sport." The Rockets now face a double-header against Brixton Topcats. "We're looking forward to the test against Brixton," said Johnson. "We're certainly not nervous about playing anybody at the moment, and rightly so."
