Worcester Wolves coach Paul James has urged his team to be more clinical as they prepare for this weekend's match-ups with Worthing and Plymouth. Wolves beat Guildford Heat last Saturday but followed that up with defeat by Mersey Tigers. James told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "We have been playing well but not finishing games off, but against the Heat we finished the job. "I think our results have not reflected how well we have been playing." Wolves face Worthing on Saturday. "We played Worthing in the cup but before they brought back Sherrad Prezzie-Blue who will help them a lot," said James. "They have some players who if you don't guard properly can hurt you so we need to be on our game. The Worthing squad contains three ex-Wolves players in its line up with Shaun Durant, at centre, one of the league's leading rebounders. At guard will be the much-travelled Adam Williams while Pepe Zafirov may well also figure - he lasted only two games at the Wolves last season before returning to his home in Bulgaria. On Sunday Worcester travel to Plymouth who beat them 94-79 five weeks ago. | I can't even explain how important this weekend is for us as Worcester is a great team Evaldas Zabas, of Plymouth Raiders |
Since then Plymouth's form has continued to improve, helped in no small way by another ex-Wolves star, Evaldas Zabas. "I can't even explain how important this weekend is for us as Worcester is a great team," he said. "We played them once already and they are coming to our place again so it should be another great game."
