Guymon leaves the Raiders without having played a competitive game

Plymouth Raiders have announced that point guard Matt Guymon has opted to leave the club ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old England international, who signed for the Raiders in July, has left the club to return to Southampton for personal reasons.

Raiders boss Gavin Love said: "It's a blow to our pre-season training and to my plans for the season."

Guymon has represented England at senior level, and also in the Under-16s and Under-18s.
